Links Gymnastics was founded by Anna Linklater with the desire to encourage children of all ages and abilities to develop habits and activities that will lead to a healthier, happier existence through fun and fitness by participating in gymnastics.
Anna started this venture as a new club in 2013 with just 2 gymnasts and now at just under 600 students and a wealth of dedicated and experienced coaches, Links Gymnastics has flourished and grown into one of the top gymnastics clubs in the local area.
Links Gymnastics is dedicated to introducing your children to the wonderful world of movement, creating a positive attitude towards physical activity and encouraging social, intellectual and physical development within a fun, safe and exciting environment.
Our main objective is to encourage and inspire all our gymnasts to reach their maximum potential, accomplish their goals and desires, and guide them towards a healthy and positive pathway for their future. Links gymnastics believes that participating in our sport can contribute to healthy physical and psychological well-being.
Anna Linklater is a qualified British Gymnastics Club Coach with experience of coaching recreational and competitive gymnastics. Anna has put together a wonderful, ever-growing team of dedicated, qualified and experienced coaches who are passionate about developing our gymnasts at all levels.
Links Gymnastics caters for children from age 4 to 18 at all levels and abilities, offering recreational and development classes. Our equipment is suitable for all and children will be coached on bars, beam, floor and vault. We also have air tracks, trampettes, trampolines and tumble tracks to assist with skills and development. As well as recreational classes we have squad classes, which are by invitation only.
Links Gymnastics is affiliated with British Gymnastics and the children have the opportunity to follow the BG award scheme, gaining certificates and badges as they progress.
We currently have 3 venues for classes, Sunninghill, Old Windsor and Windsor.
Benefits of Gymnastics:
Gymnastics provides a solid infrastructure for overall fitness. It requires coordination, flexibility, strength and balance. Gymnastics acts as a foundation for all sports, including martial arts, swimming, dancing and diving to name but a few! Whether you become a competitive gymnast or participate in other sports alongside it, gymnastics gives you a great foundation to succeed!
Some experts believe that the benefits of gymnastics are that to the mind.
